Warranty Policy

Brand: CotaJewelry (“we”, “us”, “our”)

1) Warranty Coverage

CotaJewelry warrants that products purchased from our official store will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one (1) year from the date of delivery.

Manufacturing defects may include (examples):

  • Faulty clasps or closures

  • Broken chains under normal wear

  • Loose settings due to craftsmanship issues

  • Plating defects that appear prematurely under normal wear

2) What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, dents, natural oxidation, gradual color change, minor surface marks)

  • Damage caused by accident, impact, misuse, or improper care

  • Exposure to harsh chemicals (perfume, bleach, cleaning agents, chlorine, cosmetics), excessive moisture, or extreme heat

  • Damage from improper storage, pulling, bending, or force

  • Lost items, theft, or unauthorized alterations/repairs by a third party

  • Stones/parts lost due to external impact or improper handling

  • Items marked as final sale, custom/personalized, or made-to-order (unless defective upon arrival)

3) How to Make a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, please contact us at Support@cotajewelry.com with:

  • Order number / proof of purchase

  • Clear photos and/or video showing the issue

  • A brief description of when and how the issue occurred

If needed, we may ask you to return the item for inspection.

4) Warranty Remedies

If a covered defect is confirmed, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the item, or

  • Replace the item with the same (or comparable) product, or

  • Issue a store credit or refund if repair/replacement is not possible

5) Shipping for Warranty Service

  • The customer is responsible for shipping the item to us, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

  • If the defect is confirmed as covered, we will cover the cost to ship the repaired/replacement item back to you (standard shipping).

6) Timeframe

We aim to process warranty requests within 5–10 business days after receiving your item (inspection required). During peak seasons, processing may take longer.

7) Statutory Rights

This limited warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

8) Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CotaJewelry is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
