⏱️ 1. Order Cancellation

Within 8 Hours: You can cancel your order free of charge within 8 hours of placement.

After 8 Hours (Pre-Shipment): If you request a cancellation after 8 hours but before shipment, a 5% transaction processing fee (charged by the payment gateway) will be deducted from your refund.

Post-Shipment: Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled or intercepted. Please wait for the package to arrive and initiate a standard return.

📦 2. Returns & Exchanges

30-Day Window: You may request a return or exchange within 30 days from the date of delivery.

Mandatory Authorization: You must contact our support team and receive official approval before sending anything back. Packages returned without prior authorization or sent to the address on the original shipping label will be rejected and are non-refundable.

Shipping Fees: Unless the item arrived defective or incorrect, all return shipping costs and potential customs risks are the responsibility of the customer.

To be eligible for a refund, returned items must meet these strict conditions:

Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, and in pristine, brand-new condition with zero scratches, damages, or alterations.

Packaging: Items must be returned in all original packaging, including boxes, pouches, and tags.

Exceptions: Items showing visible signs of wear, or personalized/engraved/custom-made items will be rejected.

💳 4. Inspection & Refunds

Inspection: All returns undergo a quality check upon arrival at our warehouse. You will receive an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

Processing Time: Approved refunds are issued within 1–3 business days to your original payment method.

Billing Cycle: Funds typically reflect in your account within 3–10 business days (up to 15 business days in rare cases, depending on your bank/provider).

Policy Notes: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. No restocking fees apply.

💰 5. Taxes, VAT & Customs

Taxes & VAT: Product prices listed on our store are inclusive of estimated taxes and VAT where applicable.

Important Notice: In rare cases where the destination country requires the recipient to handle customs clearance personally, any additional clearance fees or local taxes are not covered by CotaJewelry. If a package is abandoned, destroyed, or returned due to a refusal to cooperate with local customs, no refund will be issued.
